Jupiter and the Moon will Shines More Light
Earlier this week, heaven on Earth will be "coming" special guest, the two space objects that will look closer and brighter. Two objects are Jupiter and the Moon.
Today, Tuesday, January 22, 2013, both of which will appear brighter than usual. And, this beautiful landscape will look back at 2026 the next.
This particular scene will be seen on Monday evening, January 21, 2013, when the United States, or at about 10-12 during the day in Western Indonesia.
Unfortunately, despite numerous, areas predicted to see the sights is just around the United States and southern Canada. However, it is possible both objects are visible from other areas.
Moon will be within about 248,700 miles, or 400,500 kilometers from Earth. While Jupiter will be within 1.664 times more, ie from a distance of 665.9 million kilometers. At this time, the moon will appear 78 percent brighter (Waxing Gibbous) than usual.
Astronomers, all day Monday, the opportunity to see the so-called appulse, the shortest distance between the two planets. In this context, the distance between the Moon and Jupiter.
Astronomers say that the appulse does not have a direct effect on the Earth.
In the process, the moon will creep slowly towards Jupiter, and finally through the lower right of Jupiter. Moon will appear three times brighter than Sirius, the brightest star in the universe, from Earth.
Although the moon will move towards Jupiter, imaging Jupiter will look like moving. The planet will appear gradually over the moon.
Upon reaching the nearest distance, the Moon will move slowly eastward, leaving Jupiter.
"You also have a chance to try the unusual sight, which saw the traces of Jupiter in the evening, before sunset," said Tony Flanders, associate editor at Sky & Telescope magazine, said in a statement quoted by Space.com.
If you miss this moment, do not worry. According to Sky & Telescope, there are still moments of Jupiter eclipse on March 17.

Want to Diet? Can Also Use Twitter
A new study in South Carolina, United States, concluded that those who have accounts on Twitter are more likely to succeed in the diet than those who do not have a Twitter account.
The study was conducted by a number of specialists who work together with the University of South Carolina's Arnold School of Public Health, reported by Newswise, Tuesday, January 15, 2013.
The results of this study were published after seeing how a group of 96 obese people, including men and women, successful weight loss after a "diet" on Twitter for six months.
How does Twitter work for weight loss?
Previously, the volunteers are encouraged to post status updates on Twitter as the beginning of the study. There is no specific procedure in a tweet, they are free to post what they are doing and feeling.
"Observing traditional behavior patterns in weight loss, moral support and small group meetings proved to be very effective to date. However, it is relatively expensive and it imposes the participants," said one specialist in exposure studies.
"Moral support via online social networking groups can be replaced, less expensive, and can involve more people," he added.
Throughout the six months of "dieting" on Twitter, there were 2630 tweets that have been posted obese participants in this study. Of that amount, 75 percent of tweets are informational, meaning that participants just wanted to tell followers what they eat in a day, and what they avoid.
The rest, tweet-tweet contains moral support (6.6%) and praise (4.6%). "The results show that those who use Twitter as a means to lose weight have been successful," said the specialists concluded.
Scientists: Fish Do not Feel Pain At Fished
When viewing the fish hooked and then stretched, sometimes we think of how sick fish. However, that opinion was wrong. Fish do not feel pain while they are hooked and torn mouth.
A study conducted by a team of seven scientists from the University of Wyoming in the United States, have concluded that fish impervious to pain. Why? Because of these aquatic animals do not have the ability to respond to brain pain.
According to the study, the reaction of the fish and looks like a writhing in pain, just a subconscious reaction to fish, not a response to pain.
After investigation, it turns out the fish do not have the sensor receptors as humans. These receptors respond to sensors that impair functioning and sending signals to the brain. In humans, the receptor that create pain.
Denies Previous Studies
The findings contradict previous research, which suggests that allows the creatures nociceptor more reflexive and able to feel pain.
In a previous study, conducted by the University of Edinburgh, on the lips of fish Rainbow trout (species of salmon) injected acid solution. Then there is a change of behavior like brushing up on fish gravel and move with the rocking motion similar to mammalian stress. Then, the reaction was summed up as evidence of pain. However, the latest research found that there is little 'fiber C', which is found in fish species of trout and other fish. Fiber is a type of nociceptor C that causes pain.
Meanwhile, recent research leader, Professor James Rose of the University of Wyoming in the United States, also found that the fish does not contain neocortical brain enough to respond to pain. The neocortex is the part of the brain that functions as a sensor perception, generate motion commands, and the ability to recognize objects outside.
Rose said, the fish may experience fainting or basic instinctive response, but it does not cause conscious or ill feelings. Reaction to the trout, because the fish is more uncomfortable.
"There's a lot of conflict surrounding the issue of whether fish feel pain and can feel the fish. Anglers often stigmatized the sadistic and cruel. This is an unnecessary social conflicts," said Professor Robert Arlinghaus, a team of researchers at the Telegraph.
